My name´s Carol, I live near Lyon, in France. I discovered etching and engraving during my art history studies through the works of the famed William Hogarth, and I much enjoyed the Gin Lane and A Rake´s Progress etchings. As a matter of fact, the technique of etching is expensive. But I’ve been offered a linocut lesson about two years ago, and it was a very interesting experience. Cheap, not so difficult, and with many possibilities. So here are my linocuts which I hope you will enjoy.
